Mentor Advice.

Thank you guys for all the Question on whatsapp, I haven’t had the time to reply individually to the question because i have been busy at work. I will us this medium to respond most of the question.

What Python version to use : I do not think it possible to download python version 2.7 which the lectures was taught on, you can download the latest version python 3. Although most of the syntax or code like the pd.clipboard function might not work, because to syntax has been updated.

Difficulty Installing numpy and pandas: We noticed you have some problems installing numpy and pandas libraries. most intern do not encounter this problem, so i can’t say for a certain why this happen, but to be on the safer side , us jupyter notebook instead, it has all the libraries preinstalled already so you don’t have to do them manually.

About the first Assignment: Well you are to right a documentation on the programming numpy and pandas libaries. Do not uses any external resource, limit yourself to the content of the courses in the kit. A documentation should contain syntax and there use, should be accurate and precise. To know more, research about documentation of any programing language to get an idea of the format.

Problem Access the study kit: You can use any of the options to download the study kit. All options have the same content so no worries on  that. I recommend using option 3, or try downloading the files individually instead of as a whole. Make sure you have a stable wifi connection, else it could breakdown and restart download. Make sure you download the files to your system or device as access to the file will be restricted soon.

Extension Request: If there is a case where you can not submit the assignment before the deadline, make sure you request for an extension. All extension is approved automatically, so do not worry if you do not get a reply back. Submitting an assignment after deadline without an extension request might not be recorded.

Submitting Assignment:  Always follow the submission request given at the end of each assignment. Always write you name at the subject of any mail sent. For example, submitting your assignment 1, the subject of the mail should be written as follows. John Doe. Do not submit assignment multiple times, as only the first one will be accepted.
